Silvia graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano. She opened her own design studio in Bergamo (Milan area, Italy) specialized in residential, industrial, commercial and health care facilities planning. She matured experience in Managing and Executive Boards of local Governments. Adjunct Professor at the Politecnico di Milano from 2003 to 2015, she held speeches at numerous conferences. She is author of articles and books on major road and health care infrastructures.
Born in Balzola (Al) on 06/18/1943. Architect since 1969, he is full Professor at the Faculty of Architecture and Society of the Politecnico di Milano. He worked at the COMEDOR in Algiers. He participated to the Algiers Master Plan studies and to the project de Plateau des Anassers. He was part of the Equipe for the study and drafting of the recovery plan of the district of the Casbah in Algiers. He is author of several books and carried out numerous research activities on quality standards (ISO 9000). Besides that activity, architect providing consulting services for domestic and foreign both private and public administrations. Expert in researches on green economy, environmental risks, eco efficiency at national and international level. All those activities have given as a result a wide experience and skill in many fields also as a speaker at National and International symposiums and conferences.
Adjunct Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, and of Naples Federico II, from 2007 to present. Organizes and conducts seminars at the Bologna Business School-Università degli Studi di Bologna Alma Mater in the field of environmental economics and on environmental sustainability as business strategy. She is expert in environmental policies, environmental economics, evaluation of environmental risks, decision support systems and analysis related to the studies of the impacts of infrastructure and energy systems also connected to social systems. She has carried out research at the Columbia University in New York, in Milan at Politecnico, in Naples at the Federico II University and at the CNR IAMC.
Chemical engineer, Full Professor of Environmental Technical Physics at the Politecnico di Milano. He works in the field of energy, collection and treatment of urban waste and industrial waste, sewage and industrial effluent treatment, and use of renewable energy sources. He collaborates in the drafting of laws and regulations in the field of energy and water quality.
Full Professor at the Politecnico di Milano. His work is focused on issues related to Structural Dynamics, Earthquake Engineering, Bridges, Historic Structures, Structural identification of damage, Monitoring of bridges and historic structures. Member of the Scientific Committees of the major International Conferences related to experimental dynamics and evaluation of structural conditions of civil works. Coordinator, since 2011, of the Working Group of IABSE WG4 - Vibrations of Structures.
He obtained his Degree in Hydraulic Engineering, from the University of Padova in October 1970. Full Professor of Hydraulics at the School of Civil, Environmental and Land Management Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano from November 1st 1993. In addition to his teaching and research activities, he also carried out consulting activities, design and construction management in hydraulic projects focused on river basins settlement, aqueducts, drainage systems, rehabilitation, upgrading and modernization of hydroelectric plants.
Degree in Civil Engineering, water and sanitary systems, at the Politecnico di Milano in 1978. Mainly focused on the design, management and testing of static concrete structures, steel, laminated wood and masonry; design and construction supervision of cycle-pedestrian routes and roads rebuilding; structural design of minor hydraulic systems (accumulation tanks, residential sewage systems).
